Sigurdur Oddur offers seminars in horseshoeing and hoof caretaking for beginners and more experienced people. The teaching is both academic and vocational. The vocational part consists of demonstrations and exercises.

Included is a brief roundup on reminders in horseshoeing (available in Icelandic, German and English).

The goal is that beginners can shoe a horse after the seminar, while more experienced people get a deeper understanding in horseshoing, for example stability horseshoing and dealing with specific problems.
The seminar can be held both in Iceland and abroad for fans of the Icelandic horse
